14-Unit Urban Renewal Apartment Development

We were responsible for the design and project management of a small infill residential apartment development on a derelict site in Inchicore, Dublin 8 adjoining the Camac River. We initially designed the scheme on behalf of INBS/Pangrove Ltd. who sold the site to a builder/developer client we introduced to them. We then undertook the construction and certification stages of the project with the builder/developer. The scheme was leased to Dublin City Council in its entirety as Social Housing.

The infill housing development comprises 12 apartments on a narrow site although all units benefit from a southeast aspect and eight of the twelve units have dual aspect.

The scheme represents a high density with the equivalent of 192 units per hectare.
