Dooley Cummins Architects + Engineers is a well-established multi-disciplinary collaborative team of eight people, based in South Kildare on the Laois / Carlow border. The firm has focused on housing, from multi-unit to one-offs, but maintains a selective range of projects including commercial and healthcare. We also undertake a selection of Not-for-Profit projects in support of local community initiatives as a key element of our Corporate Social Responsibility. More details at bottom of page.

2. Job Description:

Working closely with a Director you will be responsible for all aspects of projects from inception to planning application stage with a strong focus on high quality design and buildable solutions. There will be great scope for personal contributions to our work process.

  • You will be ambitious and confident with a commercial as well as a design focused approach to work.
  • Good interpersonal skills and common-sense will be useful in the role.
  • Being a Graduate of Architecture, you will be eligible for RIAI Registration which we will support. Ideally you will have 1+ years of Irish PQ experience.
  • Excellent CAD skills with good working knowledge of BIM, Revit, AutoCAD & MS Office applications will be essential.

Our office is based in Athy, which is on the cusp of enormous change. Initiatives currently underway in the town include:

  • Food, Drinks and Skills Innovation Hub (due to commence Q3 2024)
  • Emily Square +  Edmund Rice square public realm upgrades (due to commence Q2 2025)
